iHerb is seeking an Inventory Control Associate 2B to maintain accurate inventory records and manage cycle counts. This role requires a basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and inventory procedures.
You are an organized individual with a keen eye for detail, capable of maintaining accurate records of all inventories. You understand the importance of following procedures to ensure that all orders received and shipped are properly accounted for in the company’s records. Your basic understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and safety procedures makes you a valuable asset in the inventory management process. You are comfortable handling paperwork and can effectively manage and reconcile cycle counts. You are proactive in addressing any discrepancies in inventory and are committed to following through with appropriate corrective actions.
In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, scanning merchandise, building pallets, and labeling products. You will pick, pack, and sort products as needed, ensuring that all items are accurately accounted for. Your responsibilities will also include verifying the accuracy of production or location, and you may be tasked with setting or assigning locations for products. You will perform manual, computer, or RF functions to enter data into systems and conduct counts of products for reconciliations. Additionally, you will support warehouse personnel with inventory issues and participate in physical inventory counts. Your role will involve troubleshooting inventory issues and conducting research to complete customer orders, as well as monitoring aging and usage levels of products. You will also review issues between invoices and purchase orders with Accounts Payable and process damage claims while performing root cause analysis of any issues.
