What you'll do

As an Offensive Security Engineer at Robinhood, you will be a key member of the Red Team, responsible for conducting Red Teaming exercises to validate security assumptions and improve the organization's ability to detect and respond to incidents. You will perform threat modeling against critical and new services, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into the development process from the outset. Your role will involve articulating the actual risks associated with various systems and collaborating with teams across the organization to enhance their security posture.

You will engage in penetration testing activities, simulating real-world attacks to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies. Your insights will help shape security policies and practices, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization. You will also participate in adversarial simulations, testing the effectiveness of existing security measures and identifying areas for improvement.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will contribute to the development of security training programs for other teams, helping to raise awareness of security best practices and promoting a proactive approach to security across the organization. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that security is a fundamental consideration in all aspects of product development.
