Infinite Machine is hiring a Service & Aftersales Manager to oversee warranty, service, and repair operations for their electric vehicles. This role requires hands-on expertise and collaboration with various teams to enhance customer experience and product quality.
You have a strong background in service management, ideally with experience in automotive or related industries. You are hands-on and have developed deep technical knowledge of vehicle systems, enabling you to effectively manage warranty and service operations. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer experience, is essential for resolving customer issues and improving product quality. You are detail-oriented and capable of tracking field issues to identify recurring failures and systemic problems. You have experience in building and managing networks of repair shops and service partners, ensuring that service operations scale effectively as the company grows. You are also skilled in training teams and partners on diagnostics and repair procedures, fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery.
In this role, you will act as the first full-time mechanic and service lead for Infinite Machine, developing hands-on expertise across all vehicle models. You will own the end-to-end warranty and service operations, which includes managing repairs, replacements, and service decisions. Your responsibilities will involve reviewing and approving warranty claims to ensure consistent and fair coverage decisions. You will partner closely with the customer experience team to resolve customer issues quickly and consistently, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Additionally, you will track field issues and identify recurring failures, sharing failure trends with quality, engineering, and product teams to ensure that fixes are implemented and sustained. As the company scales, you will build and manage a network of repair shops and service partners, coordinating with supply chain teams to ensure critical service and repair needs are met. You will also train internal teams and external partners on correct diagnostics and repair procedures, contributing to the overall success of the aftersales function.
