Job Description

Amazon Global Selling is a business that enables sellers from across the world to sell exports their products to customers in USA shopping on Amazon.com. The growth of this business is directly dependent on the ability for sellers across the world to register with Amazon Global Selling and conduct their business in a friction free manner. A core part of the growth of the Global selling business is building solutions for Sellers from “Emerging marketplaces” (which are countries that are relatively newer in the e-commerce domain when compared to USA and Europe, such as India, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, Singapore etc.), to register for and grow within the Global Selling business.
To drive the growth of this business, “Global Selling Foundations Technology team” has a mission to “Offer a Global Selling experience that enables new and existing Global Selling Emerging Marketplaces (GSE) sellers to easily Start, Manage and Grow their business globally”.
The team comprises of 3 sub-teams, which are called the “Exports Compliance Technology team”, “Exports Seller Growth Technology team”, and “Exports Seller Fulfilment team”, which support multiple aspects of Amazon Global Selling’s core businesses such as Registration, Payments, Compliance, Business Growth, Cross border Fulfilment, for both Desktop and Mobile users.
The team also builds ML, AI, and LLM solutions for Sellers across different Emerging marketplaces.

Key job responsibilities
In the dynamic landscape of Amazon's marketplace ecosystem, Global Trade Accelerator (GTA) team stands as a transformative catalyst that converts the complexities of international commerce into seamless opportunities for growth. We've architected a sophisticated engine that propels sellers beyond geographical constraints, connecting 200K merchants with global possibilities across US, EU, JP, and expanding markets like IN, LATAM, MENA. Through our flagship platform Manufacturing Central, we've engineered a bridge between sellers and 1000+ manufacturers worldwide, revolutionizing how sourcing landscape WW across 100+ categories through sophisticated features like RFQ management, real-time communication, and integrated logistics solutions. Our Sell Globally platform, complemented by the innovative Marketplace Product Guidance, doesn't just illuminate paths to international markets; it turbocharges expansion by empowering sellers with data-driven insights, strategic guidance, and targeted incentive programs that have already enabled the successful international journey of 2MM FBA ASINs. As we accelerate towards our ambitious goal of USD 23B in cumulative exports by 2025, our team serves as the force multiplier that amplifies cross-border commerce, dismantles traditional barriers, and fundamentally revolutionizes how global trade happens on Amazon's marketplaces. The name Global Trade Accelerator embodies this transformative energy - we're not just facilitating Global Trade; we're actively accelerating it, creating unprecedented velocity in global trade, and architecting the future of borderless selling on Amazon. It's more than a name; it's the essence of our mission to be the driving force behind Amazon's global selling success story, making international expansion not just possible, but inevitable.- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
