Job Description

As an Associate Contract Manager in the EU Transportation Legal Team, you'll play a crucial role in driving strategic value through the management of complex transportation agreements with carriers and customers across Europe. In this position, you will:
• Support the negotiation and optimization of transportation and logistics service agreements
• Ensure our contracts deliver maximum business impact while maintaining compliance
• Leverage technology to enhance contract management efficiency
• Assist in developing standardized contract templates and playbooks
• Provide guidance to business units on contract terms, risks, and opportunities
• Contribute to the team's goal of setting new standards in operational excellence and innovation
You'll be part of a dynamic team that utilizes advanced technology and promotes Standard Work to deliver results.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage and negotiate high-value transportation and logistics service agreements with strategic partners
• Provide guidance to business units on contract terms, risks, and opportunities
• Create and maintain standardized contract templates and playbooks for transportation services leveraging AI and other tech tools
• Review and optimize existing agreements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Lead contract negotiations with key stakeholders, leveraging digital tools
• Ensure full compliance with EU transportation regulations while protecting company interests

A day in the life
• Review, analyze and negotiate incoming contract requests from business teams across EU regions
• Draft and revise complex transportation agreements, addenda, and service level agreements
• Host daily/weekly consultation sessions with business stakeholders to provide guidance
• Build and maintain digital playbooks and FAQs for common transportation contract scenarios
• Support the development of business self-help tools and decision trees for routine contract matters
• Assist in creating automated workflow solutions for standard contract requests
• Help maintain knowledge management database using AI-powered classification systems
• Collaborate with tech teams to improve contract automation and efficiency

About the team

• BA/BS Degree
• 2 years of experience in contract management
• Professional business fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)• Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry
• Experience with AI-powered legal tools and contract automation
• Background in process improvement or digital transformation initiatives
• Experience with legal tech platforms and contract lifecycle management tools
• Knowledge of automation and workflow optimization tools • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong team player with ability to work independently
• Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
