Job Description

The Amazon Operation team in Mexico team is seeking an experienced, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Regional Learning Manager to lead the ACES Learning initiatives across multiple delivery stations. This role will be responsible for the strategic execution of learning and development initiatives that support core business objectives for our Operations teams. The position requires working with internal stakeholders to design, plan, implement, and execute training programs that accelerate business growth and ensure operational excellence.


Key job responsibilities
• Lead and develop a team of Learning Managers and Coordinators across multiple sites
• Drive the development and implementation of standardized learning & development strategies
• Maintain safety and compliance training, ensuring targeted safety metrics are achieved or exceeded
• Analyze learning-specific KPIs to drive compliance and improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (WHS, Process Engineering, Launch and Expansion, Content Design)
• Monitor and improve department performance against established benchmark standards • Provide strategic direction for training initiatives, including both financial and learning inputs/outputs
• Travel requirement of at least 60% between locations within the region
• Act as primary point of contact for senior operational leaders in the region

A day in the life
As a Regional Learning Manager at ACES Mexico, you'll split your time between data analysis and field work. Your mornings focus on reviewing learning metrics and KPIs across stations, followed by remote meetings with your Learning Managers team. The majority of your time (60%) involves traveling between delivery stations, conducting training observations, coaching team members, and meeting with station leadership. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners on strategic initiatives while ensuring safety and compliance standards are maintained. Your day concludes with documentation and reporting to senior leadership.

- Experience managing teams, or experience leading and influencing your team or organization
- Experience with leading and delivering technical training
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and using data to make decisions
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Experience that shows steady progression in Training/Learning Management for the last 5 years.
- 7 years of experience Delivering training/information to peers, hourly associates, and senior management.- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement principles & techniques
- Experience coaching and mentoring at the management level
- Experience developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
- Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience with adult learning theory and course facilitation
- Experience in instructional design, including needs analysis and multi-media instruction
