Okta is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the SLED sector to drive sales processes and manage enterprise customer relationships. You'll leverage your sales expertise to close new deals and expand existing accounts in Dallas.
You have a proven track record in sales management, particularly within the SLED sector, and possess strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with enterprise clients. You thrive in a competitive environment and enjoy the challenge of closing new logos while nurturing existing accounts. Your ability to present effectively to C-level executives and conduct engaging product demonstrations sets you apart. You are results-driven, with a history of meeting or exceeding assigned quotas and territory plans. You understand the importance of collaboration and work closely with Sales Development Representatives to maintain a robust sales pipeline. You are adaptable and eager to learn, always looking for ways to improve your sales strategies and processes.
Experience with identity management solutions or similar technology products is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, will enhance your ability to manage customer relationships effectively. A background in the public sector or experience working with government clients can provide valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities within this market.
As the Regional Sales Manager for SLED at Okta, you will manage the entire sales process from initial demonstrations to contract negotiations. You will be responsible for expanding business within existing Okta customers by developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts. Your role will involve prospecting, forecasting, and building a sales pipeline in collaboration with assigned Sales Development Representatives. You will present to C-level executives both in the field and via web demonstrations, showcasing the value of Okta's identity solutions. You will also partner with ISVs and strategic partners to enhance sales efforts and drive growth in your territory. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed your assigned quota while contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
