Samsara is seeking a Senior Director of Sales Commissions to lead the development of scalable sales compensation processes. You'll work closely with Sales Leadership to ensure alignment with company objectives. This role requires strong leadership and operational skills.
You are a highly motivated and enthusiastic leader with a strong background in sales compensation and operations. With over 5 years of experience in a similar role, you have a proven track record of developing and implementing scalable compensation plans that align with company goals. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to continuous process improvement, ensuring flawless execution in all aspects of sales compensation.
Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to assess compensation policies and make data-driven decisions that enhance sales performance. You have experience working closely with sales leadership, providing insights and recommendations that drive strategic initiatives. You are comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in a technology or SaaS company is a plus, as is familiarity with compensation management software. You are adaptable and can pivot quickly in response to changing business needs. A background in finance or analytics will further enhance your ability to succeed in this role.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and leading a scalable Sales Compensation function. You will drive day-to-day operations and continuously improve processes to ensure that compensation plans are executed flawlessly. Collaborating with Sales Leadership, you will govern compensation policies and actively participate in the annual sales planning process.
You will analyze sales performance data to identify trends and insights that inform compensation strategies. Your role will involve creating and maintaining compensation models that align with business objectives, ensuring that they are competitive and motivating for the sales team. You will also oversee the administration of compensation programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
As a key partner to Sales Leadership, you will provide guidance on compensation-related matters and support the development of sales strategies that drive revenue growth. You will lead initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of compensation programs, ensuring they are aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives.
