Why this role?

Be the foundational architect of Cohere’s EMEA sales development engine. You’ll own pipeline generation for enterprise accounts while designing the systems that will scale our SDR function. This role offers unparalleled impact: drive revenue for a cutting-edge AI company, collaborate with top-tier AEs, and write the playbook for the EMEA sales development team as we grow. As a Lead Sales Development Representative, you will:

  • Own Pipeline Generation: Consistently hit/exceed quarterly targets through strategic cold outreach to executive buyers in EMEA.

  • Collaborate with AEs: Partner with Account Executives to align on ICPs, refine messaging, and ensure seamless lead handoffs.

  • Optimize Outreach: A/B test cadences, craft compelling narratives, and leverage tools to maximize response rates.

  • Build Scalable Systems: Document processes, track KPIs, and identify opportunities to streamline workflows—laying the groundwork for future SDR teams.

  • Regional Expertise: Adapt tactics for EMEA focus markets while maintaining a unified go-to-market strategy.

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • Speak fluent English (additional fluency in French or German preferred)

  • 3+ years as an SDR in B2B tech, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas in EMEA markets.

  • Skills:

    • Mastery of cold outreach (phone, email, social) and CRM tools.

    • Data-driven mindset: Analyze performance metrics to refine strategies.

    • Collaboration: Seamless partnership with AEs and marketing.

  • Mindset:

    • Obsessed with sales development—not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

    • Strategic thinker who builds systems while excelling in execution.

    • Passion for AI/enterprise tech.

    • Autonomy and initiative to thrive as an individual contributor with leadership qualities.
