Xometry is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure the highest quality of manufactured parts and finished goods. You'll conduct thorough inspections and maintain documentation in accordance with ISO standards. This role requires attention to detail and expertise in inspection procedures.
You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality — your meticulous approach ensures that every manufactured part meets customer specifications and quality standards. You understand the importance of following inspection procedures and are familiar with AQL sampling plans. Your experience in documentation and record keeping aligns with ISO standards, and you are comfortable maintaining organized electronic records. You are proactive in contributing to the development and revision of inspection procedures, ensuring that they are up to date and effective. You are also capable of coordinating the calibration of measurement and test equipment, ensuring that all tools are functioning correctly and providing accurate results.
As a Quality Control Inspector at Xometry, you will conduct thorough inspections of machined parts and finished goods, verifying their conformance to customer specifications and quality standards. You will utilize the AQL sampling plan outlined in ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 to ensure that inspections are systematic and reliable. Your role will involve accurately documenting inspection results, testing data, and any non-conformances in accordance with ISO standards and Xometry's quality management system. You will maintain organized and controlled electronic records, which are crucial for tracking quality metrics and ensuring compliance. Additionally, you will contribute to the development, revision, and maintenance of inspection procedures and work instructions, helping to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
