Overview

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Manager for Workforce Strategy to oversee day-to-day SLA delivery and drive innovation in Workforce Management. This role requires strong strategic and operational skills to enhance customer experience.

You have a proven track record in workforce management, with experience in capacity planning and real-time operations. You thrive in ambiguous environments and can quickly transition from identifying problems to implementing effective solutions. Your strategic mindset allows you to connect high-level goals with day-to-day execution, ensuring that the workforce is optimized for performance and efficiency.

You possess strong leadership skills and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Planning, Vendor Operations, Customer Experience, and Product/Engineering. You are adept at surfacing risks early and ensuring accountability within your team, fostering a culture of excellence and reliability.

Your innovative approach drives the agenda for Workforce Management, as you seek to leverage existing tools while exploring automation and AI capabilities. You understand what it takes to scale operations effectively and are committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Desirable

Experience with automation tools and AI technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with workforce management software. You are comfortable navigating complex operational challenges and can adapt strategies to meet evolving business needs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Workforce Management team, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
