Contentful is seeking a Customer Experience AI Engineer to lead the integration of AI solutions that enhance team workflows. You'll work with modern AI technologies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. This role requires a strong understanding of AI applications in customer experience.
You have a strong passion for the applied use of modern AI technologies, including large language models and agent-based frameworks. With a background in customer experience, you understand how to leverage AI to improve workflows and outcomes. You are a process-oriented, strategic doer who can turn AI potential into practical, high-impact results. Your technical fluency allows you to bridge the gap between AI strategy and execution, ensuring that innovations are rooted in real business value. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with various stakeholders to drive clarity and accelerate responsible AI adoption. You are comfortable training teams on practical tools, fostering confidence in AI usage.
In this role, you will identify and prioritize high-impact AI-driven opportunities within the Customer Experience team. You will work closely with the Technical Support Leader and other CX leaders to analyze existing workflows and determine where AI can add value. Your responsibilities will include prototyping and iterating rapidly with internal stakeholders to integrate AI tools into frontline workflows securely and sustainably. You will not only build solutions but also enable teams by training them on these tools, ensuring that they understand how to leverage AI effectively. Your work will focus on delivering measurable productivity gains while aligning with Contentful's standards and long-term goals. You will be expected to lead the identification, adoption, and integration of AI solutions that materially improve team operations, making a significant impact on the overall customer experience.
