Who you are

You are a supply chain professional with at least 4 years of experience managing logistics or supply chain planning for a global product company. You are a problem-solver who looks around corners to anticipate bottlenecks and issues to keep things running smoothly. You enjoy bringing up new suppliers and creating new global distribution networks without a standard corporate playbook. You thrive on ambiguity and like to work at startup speed.

Desirable

Experience in hardware logistics at an early-stage or mid-stage startup is a plus. Familiarity with material planning or hardware operations management will also be beneficial.

What you'll do

As the Supply Chain Manager at Instawork, you will own the planning, procurement, and logistics for the specialized hardware used for robotics data capture. You will manage vendor relationships, identifying and onboarding new suppliers while also managing existing hardware vendors. Your role will involve purchasing inventory and managing inbound logistics to ensure a smooth supply chain process. Additionally, you will oversee the distribution of equipment to our distributed workforce in the US and APAC regions, ensuring timely delivery and operational efficiency. You will also be involved in sourcing products and partners for rapid prototyping, contributing to the innovation and development of our robotics initiatives.
