Motional is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR initiatives and foster a collaborative workplace. You'll play a key role in employee relations and compliance in Las Vegas. This position requires experience in HR processes and strong interpersonal skills.
You have a solid background in human resources, ideally with experience in employee relations and compliance. You understand the importance of creating a supportive and values-centric workplace where employees feel empowered and heard. Your ability to build strong relationships with employees and managers is key to your success in this role. You are detail-oriented and can handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism. You are familiar with HR programs and processes, including performance reviews and onboarding, and you are committed to ensuring compliance with employment laws. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with HR Business Partners and other team members to deliver meaningful initiatives.
Experience in a technology or engineering-focused environment would be a plus. Familiarity with Nevada employment law and HR compliance requirements is also desirable. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and are comfortable providing guidance to managers on performance concerns and disciplinary processes.
As a Human Resources Generalist at Motional, you will support employee relations by triaging concerns and documenting cases. You will conduct initial fact-finding interviews under the guidance of the HR Business Partner and assist with resolution plans. Your role will involve providing guidance to frontline managers on performance concerns, coaching, and ensuring that documentation is legally sound and consistent. You will assist in the administration of HR programs such as performance reviews, merit cycles, employee surveys, onboarding, and offboarding. You will serve as a frontline point-of-contact for employee and manager inquiries regarding company policies and general HR processes, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided. Additionally, you will help ensure compliance with Nevada employment law by tracking required postings, trainings, and filings, and flagging potential issues to the HR Business Partner. Your contributions will help create positive experiences for our operations and engineering teams, particularly in our Las Vegas office.
