Kpler is seeking an Account Executive – Maritime to drive new business in the maritime sector. You'll be responsible for building a pipeline and closing deals across North America. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
You are a highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record in new business development. With experience in complex sales environments, you excel at cold prospecting and building relationships with key stakeholders. You possess exceptional commercial judgment, knowing when to push for a deal and when to walk away. Your disciplined and self-directed approach allows you to thrive under pressure, consistently performing at or above quota. You are competitive by nature, driven by growth, impact, and the potential for high earnings.
Experience in the maritime sector or familiarity with commodities and energy markets would be advantageous. You are comfortable navigating technical discussions and can effectively position Kpler as a mission-critical data platform for your clients.
In this role, you will take full ownership of the new business lifecycle, from cold prospecting to closing deals. You will build and maintain a deep, active pipeline across various sectors, including hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and trading desks. Your responsibilities will include running executive-level discovery meetings to position Kpler's solutions effectively. You will lead complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders and technical buyers, ensuring that you forecast with precision and manage your pipeline with rigor and transparency. Your goal will be to consistently exceed sales quotas while raising the commercial bar across the team.
