Tekion is seeking a People Business Generalist II to provide broad support across the People function, assisting with employee relations, policy administration, and onboarding. This role requires experience in HR processes and a commitment to enhancing employee engagement.
You have a solid background in human resources, ideally with experience in employee relations and policy administration. You understand the importance of compliance with company policies and employment regulations, and you are skilled at supporting People Business Partners in delivering consistent HR programs. Your ability to contribute to process improvements and employee engagement initiatives is key to creating a positive employee experience.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with People leadership to ensure that HR processes run smoothly. Your attention to detail and organizational skills enable you to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a focus on employee satisfaction. You are committed to fostering a workplace culture that values diversity and inclusion, and you understand the nuances of supporting a diverse workforce.
Experience with HR software and tools is a plus, as is familiarity with data analysis to support HR initiatives. You may have a background in project management, which helps you contribute to various HR projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
In this role, you will support People Business Partners in administering HR programs and policies, ensuring that they are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization. You will assist with onboarding new employees, helping them integrate into the company culture and understand their roles and responsibilities. Your contributions will also include supporting employee relations efforts, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication between employees and management.
You will play a key role in process improvements, identifying areas where HR practices can be enhanced to better serve employees and the organization. Your involvement in employee engagement initiatives will help create a positive workplace atmosphere, fostering collaboration and teamwork. You will also assist in ensuring compliance with employment regulations, keeping up to date with changes in labor laws and best practices in HR.
