Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Fleet Expansion who will be part of a group that’s defining and building fleet capabilities supporting Amazon’s current and future initiatives.

At Amazon we are building a last mile operation that is complimented by Delivery Service Partners (DSP). The Last Mile team is hiring a Sr. Program Manager to lead geographic expansion of our Amazon fleet, and drive strategic initiatives that integrate compliance, driver and vehicle safety into projects reaching across all functions of this fast paced and growing organization. This role will own the roadmap to launch and work across partner teams in Global Fleet and Product to support vehicle launches in new geographies.
Travel Required: up to 25%

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate across teams and to leadership to ensure alignment of goals and tasks to ensure the overall success of the program
- Monitor key quality metrics, define and implement initiatives to drive process improvements
- Develop the playbook for both diligence and launch activities
- Develop the fleet offering for new fleet types with the designated geographies
- Work within time constraints and deliver results to meet critical business needs
- Innovate and improve existing processes to streamline and eliminate waste while enabling growth and scale.
- Serve as conduit between local teams in country on best practices and support new product and tech feature deployment
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and adjust priorities accordingly- Experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
