Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to solve complex customer problems and support the sales team. You'll work hands-on with clients to demonstrate the value of Snowflake's technology. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.
You have a strong background in engineering and a passion for solving complex data challenges — with 5+ years of experience in a technical role, you understand how to translate features into solutions that meet business needs. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer requirements and strategize on effective solutions. Your ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, allowing you to build strong relationships with clients and drive successful outcomes.
You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies — as the technical landscape evolves, you stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations. Your hands-on experience with data solutions enables you to effectively demonstrate the value of Snowflake's offerings, guiding customers through the evaluation process and ensuring they see the benefits of choosing Snowflake as their solution.
Experience with cloud data platforms or similar technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with sales processes and customer engagement strategies. You are comfortable presenting to executives and technical contributors, showcasing your ability to articulate the value of technology in solving real-world business problems.
In this role, you will present Snowflake’s technology and vision to both executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers — your presentations will highlight how Snowflake can address their unique challenges and drive business success. You will work hands-on with prospects to demonstrate the technology, guiding them through demos, proofs of concept, and the design and implementation phases. Your goal is to create and develop technical champions within your accounts, empowering them to advocate for Snowflake and drive deals to closure.
You will collaborate closely with the sales team, providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle — from initial engagement to final implementation. Your role will involve understanding customer needs deeply, strategizing on how to best support them, and ensuring they have a seamless experience with Snowflake's technology. You will also be responsible for staying updated on the latest advancements in Snowflake technology, enabling you to provide the most relevant and impactful solutions to your customers.
