Amazon is seeking a Data Center Technician to ensure the reliability and availability of data center operations. You'll perform hardware and network diagnostics and participate in an on-call rotation. This position requires a strong understanding of AWS infrastructure.
You are a motivated individual looking to start your career in data center operations. You have a basic understanding of hardware and network diagnostics and are eager to learn more about AWS infrastructure services. You are comfortable lifting and moving equipment and can work in a 24/7 environment, participating in an on-call rotation. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to work with a diverse team of engineers and specialists.
Experience with hardware repair and network troubleshooting is a plus, but not required. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies will help you succeed in this role.
As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall availability and reliability of data center operations. You will perform in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs as needed. You will participate in an on-call rotation, providing after-hours support when necessary. Your role will involve collaborating with software, hardware, and network engineers to maintain the highest standards of safety and security in the data center. You will also assist in troubleshooting issues that may arise, ensuring that our customers have continual access to the services they rely on.
