As a Software Developer you will have the opportunity to participate in the design and implementation of an exciting greenfield project and overcome complex technical, business and customer experience challenges at scale. You will work in a fast-paced environment and take on unique challenges that will have a highly visible impact on our growing business. You will partner with our technical teams to improve the quality of our Risk team. You will be a member of a world-class product development team where the work environment is collaborative. Key job responsibilities
Own software development code, coordinates with internal and external teams to build new platforms, features, and services from scratch.
Innovate & design for solutions to build tools that provide access and prevent risk at scale.
Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in Java and other object-oriented languages.
Build highly available, secure, distributed systems in a micro services architecture.
Collaborate with some of the best engineers in the industry to work on complex challenges in large-scale computing and find out what it takes to engineer systems for “Amazon Scale”
Build Customer facing tools and workflows that help us to ingest, vet and list the content shared by them and make it available to 1000s of Sellers.
A day in the life
The average day is focused on delivering upon our prioritized features and collaborating with members of the team on planning and designing future features.
We gather on a daily Scrum to support each other in our work and help overcome blockers as a team.- 4+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience
- 4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- 3+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of full stack development experience
