Google is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to shape financial operations and support key Cloud executives. You'll leverage SQL, Looker, and Tableau to create impactful data visualizations. This role requires 7 years of experience in data modeling and BI tools.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in data modeling, developing data sets, or creating data visualizations. Your expertise includes using BI tools like Looker or Tableau to create visualizations and dashboards, and you are proficient in writing SQL queries. You can communicate fluently in English to support global relations, and you have experience supporting data-driven sales operations, consulting, or program management. Your technical skills extend to scripting languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, or HTML for data manipulation, analysis, and automation. You are familiar with cloud-based data platforms and related BI services, and you have experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques. You possess the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping how Finance partners with key Cloud executives and drives profitability. You will lead and contribute to high-visibility projects with direct exposure to VP-level executives. Your expert opinion will be sought after by GTM, Product, and Strategic Finance teams, enabling decision-making at all levels. You will combine your problem-solving acumen with technologies to surface analytics and insights at scale. You will seek out opportunities to improve financial operations by devising new and automating financial models and processes, statistical or driver-based forecasts, and simulations. As a trusted partner to finance colleagues across Google, you will enable hundreds of Financial Analysts and Managers, serving as the main subject matter expert on key financial systems and data marts.
