Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Senior MMIC Design Engineer to develop next-generation MMICs for space and ground infrastructures. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams. This role requires expertise in electrical engineering and relevant design tools.

Who you are

You are a motivated and proactive Senior MMIC Design Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for developing cutting-edge technologies. With 5+ years of experience in MMIC design, you have a deep understanding of the principles of microwave engineering and semiconductor devices. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside cross-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that push the boundaries of connectivity. Your expertise in tools such as Altium Designer and MATLAB enables you to design and validate complex circuits effectively. You are intellectually curious and eager to tackle challenges in the aerospace industry, particularly in the context of satellite communications.

Desirable

Experience with embedded systems and programming in Python is a plus, as it allows you to contribute to the software aspects of hardware design. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in MMIC design will further enhance your ability to deliver high-quality results. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of next-generation MMICs that will be deployed in both space and ground infrastructures.
