Google is seeking a Field Sales Representative for their Digital Native team to drive business growth in the cloud sector. You'll engage with C-level accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires 4 years of sales experience in technology, particularly with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 4 years of sales experience in the technology industry, specifically with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms. Your experience includes engaging with accounts and selling a portfolio of products at the C-level, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex commercial and legal agreements while working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams. You excel at building relationships and delivering results in a cross-functional environment, showcasing your collaborative skills across organizational boundaries. Your strategic and problem-solving abilities allow you to plan, pitch, and execute a territory sales strategy effectively.
You are quick to learn and adapt to new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud, IT, and security technology space. Your excellent communication skills enable you to articulate complex ideas clearly, fostering strong relationships with customers and internal teams alike. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and are motivated by the opportunity to shape the future of businesses through innovative technology solutions.
Experience with complex commercial and legal agreements is a plus, as is familiarity with working alongside Procurement, Legal, and Business teams. A background in cloud technologies and a strong understanding of the technology landscape will further enhance your candidacy.
In this role, you will play a key part in understanding the needs of customers and helping to shape the future of how businesses utilize technology. You will generate and develop business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners to drive success. Your responsibilities will include understanding each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, and business drivers, as well as their technology strategy and external landscape.
You will drive business development efforts, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle. Your ability to collaborate effectively with various teams will be crucial in delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring that the value of Google Cloud's offerings is communicated effectively.
