You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, Technology, and Compliance, to strengthen the firm's risk profile and protect its value. Your expertise in operational risk frameworks and governance reporting is well-established, and you are committed to promoting a culture of risk awareness and accountability within the organization.

You possess a deep understanding of business continuity, third-party risks, and commercial lines of insurance, which allows you to effectively manage risks arising from internal processes, people, systems, and external events. Your analytical skills enable you to perform thorough assessments of new business initiatives and critical projects, ensuring that risks are appropriately managed and documented. You are adept at preparing and presenting risk reports for senior management and governance committees, showcasing your ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

Experience in the financial services industry is a plus, as is familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards. What you'll do

As an Operational Risk Manager at Point72, you will play a critical role in the identification, analysis, and mitigation of operational risks across the organization. You will direct the implementation of Point72’s operational risk framework, overseeing the capture, investigation, and root-cause analysis of realized events. Your responsibilities will include ensuring effective documentation, remediation planning, and governance reporting to maintain compliance and transparency.

You will lead the analysis, assessment, and continuous monitoring of operational risks across various business units, including investment processes, trading operations, technology, and support functions. Your role will involve performing assessments of new business initiatives and critical projects to ensure that risks are managed appropriately and that the firm’s risk profile is strengthened.

In addition, you will support the enhancement of the firm’s risk frameworks, policies, and standards, promoting a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organization. You will prepare and present risk reporting for senior management and governance committees, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of the current risk landscape and any necessary actions.
