Neuralink is seeking a Biocompatibility Scientist to develop in-vitro biocompatibility methods for brain-computer interface technologies. This role requires expertise in product safety and regulatory compliance, with a focus on innovative medical devices.
You have a strong background in biocompatibility testing and a passion for advancing medical technology. Your experience includes developing and validating in-vitro biocompatibility assays, ensuring they meet international regulatory standards such as ISO 10993 and OECD guidance. As a Biocompatibility Scientist at Neuralink, you will lead the development of in-vitro biocompatibility methods that are crucial for the safety of our brain-computer interface technologies. You will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring that all processes are compliant with regulatory standards. Your role will involve conducting toxicological risk assessments and batch release testing to support the manufacture of Neuralink devices. You will collaborate closely with other scientists and engineers to ensure that our products meet the highest safety and quality standards.
You will also be tasked with developing and validating assays that assess the biocompatibility of materials used in our devices. This includes ensuring reproducibility and appropriate endpoints in your testing methods. You will play a critical role in advancing our understanding of how our devices interact with biological systems, contributing to the overall mission of restoring movement and sight to those in need.
