SpaceX is hiring a Production Control Scheduler to develop and implement system tools for avionics production. You'll manage resource schedules and drive efficiency improvements while utilizing data analytics. This position requires strong communication skills and an understanding of manufacturing operations.
You have a strong background in production control and scheduling, with a focus on avionics. Your experience includes managing resource schedules and collaborating with operations teams to meet tight timelines. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey expected completion dates to customers and stakeholders. Your understanding of data analytics and manufacturing operations enables you to evaluate critical production processes and recommend sustainable solutions. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at guiding cross-functional teams through complex challenges. You approach problem-solving with creativity and initiative, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems is a plus, as you will educate production teams on improvements to these internal systems. Familiarity with upstream and downstream work centers will enhance your ability to improve communication and efficiency across the production process. A background in avionics or aerospace manufacturing will be beneficial in understanding the specific challenges of this industry.
In this role, you will manage resource schedules and partner with the operations team to execute tight timelines. You will lead efforts to evaluate critical production processes, including batching strategies and lead times, providing recommendations for improvements. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you analyze data inputs such as yield and lead times, driving enhancements to production efficiency. You will participate in the master scheduling process and make integration-level decisions that impact the overall production workflow. Your role will involve educating production teams on MRP/ERP systems to ensure that work is scheduled effectively and efficiently. You will also be responsible for fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.
