Job Description

We seek an experienced media professional to develop new customers for our in-
house activation team, focusing on programmatic and social media buying across Amazon. This
role is a subject matter expert for all programmatic digital and social and the direct contact for
approving media planning, optimization and measurement approach. You will create specific
playbooks for categories across a variety of objectives and oversee the refinement of these
playbooks as more data is collected through testing strategy. This role leads day-to-day
activation across digital and social campaigns, manages program expansion, and supports our in-
house buying experts.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop MODE Activation documentation, tailoring standard operating procedures (SOP) and service level agreement (SLA) to customer needs while maintaining consistency across clients
- Lead experimentation roadmap development for clients with critical eye for measurement and analytics
- Manage in house activation team scope and facilitate financial guidelines for clients
- Develop and present strategic POVs on emerging platforms, brand safety best practices, audience strategies, and evolving media trends
- Guide hands-on-keyboard activation teams in translating high-level media strategies into actionable media plans, inclusive of audience segmentation, targeting frameworks, and platform-specific tactics
- Maintain high bar for cross channel media plans, reporting and optimizations and review prior to client

A day in the life
- Establish cadence of meetings with customers and activation team to review reporting and optimization plans
- Collaborate with the hands-on-keyboard activation team to develop performance narratives that contextualize media results, surface trends and insights, and deliver actionable recommendations to inform ongoing strategy and optimization.
- Dive deep into Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking solutions and analytics
- Develop POVs for new platforms, brand safety, audience or media strategy
- Set up campaign management system with any maintenance and updates

About the team
Amazon MODE (Media, Operations, Data and Execution) is in house buying team activating across Amazon for programmatic and social media within XCM (Cross Channel, Cross Functional) division of Amazon Marketing- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data- 6+ years in marketing or advertising agency or brand managing stakeholder needs to achieve goals

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
