SpaceX is hiring an Inventory Specialist to support the Starlink satellite factory. You'll oversee inventory operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in material handling. This position is ideal for candidates looking to start their career in operations.
You are an organized individual with a keen eye for detail, ready to support the operations of SpaceX's Starlink satellite factory. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, ensuring that production lines are stocked and that inventory records are accurate. You understand the importance of inventory accuracy and are committed to maintaining high standards in your work. Experience in inventory management or a related field is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes or manufacturing environments would be beneficial. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn will help you succeed in this role.
In your role as an Inventory Specialist, you will receive, store, and issue raw materials, parts, and hardware to support shop operations. You will be responsible for completing putaways for inbound materials and picking products for production. Your attention to detail will ensure that build locations are filled with the necessary materials, and you will manage the inventory of finished goods, ensuring they are accurately recorded and available for customer orders. You will work closely with the Materials Management team to streamline processes and improve inventory accuracy. As Starlink continues to grow, your contributions will be vital in supporting the expansion of our inventory operations.
