Who you are

You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience programming in Java or C++. You are also proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript, showcasing your versatility across different programming languages. Your background includes experience with performance, large-scale systems, data analysis, and debugging, which equips you to tackle complex challenges in software development. You have a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, gained through academic or industry settings, and you are passionate about developing accessible technologies. Your proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis, and resolution, as well as software test engineering, makes you a valuable asset to any engineering team.

Desirable

A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred, as it demonstrates a deeper understanding of the principles that drive software engineering. Experience with visualization tools and a strong grasp of debugging techniques will set you apart from other candidates. You are eager to bring fresh ideas from various areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, and artificial intelligence, to enhance Google's offerings.

What you'll do
