Postman is seeking a Named Account Executive to drive sales within upper mid-market and lower enterprise organizations. You'll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle and building strong customer partnerships. This role requires a strategic mindset and experience in the DevOps ecosystem.
You have proven experience in sales, particularly within the upper mid-market and lower end of enterprise organizations. Your strategic hunter mindset allows you to navigate complex sales cycles effectively, and you excel at building strong customer partnerships that lead to multi-six and seven figure deal relationships. You are comfortable owning a targeted list of named accounts and are skilled at developing deep account penetration strategies. Collaboration with technical teams is second nature to you, and you understand the importance of delivering value across multiple stakeholders.
Experience within the DevOps ecosystem is a significant advantage, as it will enhance your ability to connect with potential clients and understand their needs. You are adept at identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts and have a track record of successfully expanding business relationships. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, allowing you to bridge gaps and foster collaboration.
In this role, you will own the full sales cycle for your named accounts, from prospecting through to closing and expansion. You will be responsible for driving land-and-expand strategies, ensuring that you not only secure initial contracts but also identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within your accounts. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with potential clients, understanding their challenges, and presenting tailored solutions that align with their business goals. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that the solutions you propose are feasible and deliverable, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction throughout the process.
You will also be expected to develop and execute account plans that outline your strategies for penetrating and expanding within your assigned accounts. This includes setting clear objectives, tracking progress, and adjusting your approach as necessary to meet your targets. Regularly reporting on your sales activities and outcomes will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will participating in team meetings to share insights and best practices with your colleagues.
