Google is seeking a Silicon Manufacturing Decision Systems Lead to drive innovations in semiconductor manufacturing. You'll leverage AI/ML techniques and manage production KPIs to optimize processes. This role requires extensive experience in SoC manufacturing and team leadership.
You have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, along with at least 10 years of experience in SoC manufacturing development and production ramp. Your expertise includes managing production KPIs with foundry and OSAT operations, ensuring quality and efficiency in semiconductor fabrication technologies. You have a strong background in yield analysis and process life-cycles, driving cost and quality initiatives in production. With 6 years of people management experience, you excel at leading technical teams and developing employees to reach their full potential.
Your preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related Engineering field. You have hands-on experience in foundry and OSAT operations, focusing on yield improvements and diagnosing equipment-related yield losses. Your familiarity with AI/ML techniques allows you to leverage trends from wafer acceptance testing and test yield data to drive optimizations in the manufacturing process. You possess knowledge of statistical process control and probability fundamentals, which are essential for data analysis and process control design.
In this role, you will be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. You will contribute to innovations that shape the next generation of products loved by millions worldwide. Your responsibilities will include utilizing AI/ML models and data analysis tools to identify trends impacting product delivery schedules and recommending corrective actions. You will work in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with silicon operations, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, and external supplier teams to accomplish these goals.
You will lead initiatives to optimize yield, test time, cycle time, DPPM, and equipment utilization across the full manufacturing flow. Your role will involve driving cost and quality initiatives, ensuring that production processes meet the highest standards. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
