A CAreer with point72’s securities lending team

The Securities Lending team operates within the firm’s broader Treasury division and is responsible for financing the firm’s multiple asset classes by interacting directly with prime brokers to source liquidity and negotiate financing rates. The team also performs data analysis to identify market trends and maximize financing efficiencies.

 

What you’ll do

• Locate hard to borrow securities with the firm’s prime / swap brokers, providing short side liquidity for our investment teams
• Monitor and actively manage financing costs on cash and swap positions in Asia
• Compile and distribute borrow color and analytical reports to execution traders and portfolio managers
• Work with Compliance to ensure adherence to all applicable policies and regulations

 

What’s REQUIRED

• 5+ years sell-side or buy-side experience could be from a tech background or prime/financing
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin
• Strong programming skills in Python/C++/VBA
• Self-starter who can work independently
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work with large datasets
• A team player mentality and strong interpersonal skills
