InterSystems is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their North American Sales Engineering Group. You'll be responsible for client-facing roles that involve application development, technical architecture recommendations, and delivering training. This position requires a blend of technical and sales skills.
You have a strong background in application development and deployment, with hands-on coding experience that allows you to solve complex problems effectively. Your presentation skills are top-notch, enabling you to communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders. You possess a keen sales awareness and business acumen, which helps you understand client needs and align solutions accordingly. Your ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients is essential, as is your willingness to travel extensively for regional engagements.
Experience working closely with System Integrators and Project Managers is a plus, especially during the early stages of project adoption. Familiarity with designing and building Proofs of Concept (PoCs) will enhance your ability to demonstrate the value of InterSystems' offerings. Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and competitive products is crucial for success in this role.
In this role, you will coordinate with InterSystems' Account Representatives and various departments to ensure a seamless client experience. You will work closely with System Integrators and Project Managers to ensure successful implementations of InterSystems' technologies. Your responsibilities will include recommending technical architectures, model designs, development patterns, migration strategies, and operational best practices. You will also design, build, and present Proofs of Concept to prospects and partners, showcasing the capabilities of InterSystems' products.
Additionally, you will deliver both standard and customized on-site training in a classroom environment, supporting clients during beta test programs or pre-launch activities. Your role will also involve supporting marketing activities at trade shows, conferences, and seminars, where you will represent InterSystems and engage with potential clients. Keeping abreast of InterSystems products and contemporary IT industry developments will be part of your ongoing professional development.
