You have strong software development experience, particularly in C++ and Python, which enables you to contribute effectively to the Numerical Modelling team at SpaceX. Your background allows you to understand complex software architecture and quality assurance processes, ensuring that the simulation software meets the high standards required for aerospace manufacturing. As a Software Engineer on the Numerical Modelling team, you will own the software architecture and quality of the simulation software used across SpaceX. You will build advanced interfaces for viewing and interpreting simulation results, ensuring that the software is user-friendly and effective for engineers across the organization.
You will troubleshoot and debug issues related to software integration, meshing quality, and simulation accuracy, working closely with other engineers to resolve challenges as they arise. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the simulation engine meets the needs of various manufacturing processes, including those for the Raptor, Starship, and Starlink programs.
