Fictiv is hiring an IT Operations Engineer to provide critical operational support for technology systems. You'll work with IAM, Network Administration, and Security Event Management in an office-based role in Oakland.
You have a strong background in IT operations, with deep knowledge of IAM, Network Administration, Security Event Management, and SaaS Management. You thrive in environments where you can provide critical day-to-day support for technology systems, ensuring secure access for all employees. Your experience includes setting up IT networks for LAN/WAN/VPC/VPN, configuring desktop hardware, and managing software. You understand the importance of security training and help desk support, and you are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud infrastructure operations. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication, and you are eager to contribute to a world-class organization that values diversity and inclusion.
As an IT Operations Engineer at Fictiv, you will report to the IT Operations Lead and play a crucial role in supporting the technology systems that enable hardware innovators to build better products. Your day-to-day tasks will include configuring desktop hardware and software, managing access control, and providing help desk support to resolve technical issues. You will collaborate closely with the Cloud Infrastructure Operations team to ensure that all employees have secure access to Fictiv systems. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to implement strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support the company's growth.
