You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and are eager to start your career in a technical role. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you understand the importance of maintaining high cleanliness standards in a manufacturing environment. You are committed to quality and take pride in your work, ensuring that every component meets the necessary requirements before installation. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others and are willing to learn from experienced colleagues. You have a proactive attitude towards identifying areas for improvement and are open to feedback.

What you'll do

As a Spacecraft Cleanliness Technician at SpaceX, you will conduct thorough cleaning and inspection of parts to ensure compliance with cleanliness requirements. You will utilize specialized cleaning techniques and equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Documenting cleaning procedures and results will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify cleanliness requirements for various components and assist in developing and implementing cleaning protocols and best practices. Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness in designated work areas, including cleanrooms and controlled environments, will be essential. You will also train and educate team members on cleanliness standards and proper cleaning techniques, performing regular audits of cleanliness processes and suggesting improvements. Identifying preventative measures to eliminate sources of foreign object debris (FOD) will be part of your role, contributing to the overall safety and integrity of the spacecraft.
