OneOncology is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a part-time/PRN opportunity in Baton Rouge, LA. You'll provide patient-centered cancer care through evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing management in a collaborative setting.
You are a qualified Radiation Oncologist with a degree in MD or DO and board certifications in your specialty. You have experience treating a variety of cases and are passionate about delivering high-quality cancer care. You thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and are committed to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. You are open to part-time or per diem work and are flexible with your schedule, ideally available for 2-3 days a week.
Experience in private practice is preferred, and familiarity with outpatient and inpatient consults will be beneficial. You understand the importance of communication and teamwork in a clinical setting, and you are eager to contribute to a supportive healthcare environment.
In this role, you will support the Southeastern Louisiana Radiation Oncology Group by providing radiation oncology services across multiple clinic sites in the Baton Rouge area. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and managing ongoing care in collaboration with advanced practitioners, nurses, physicists, dosimetrists, and therapists. You will be involved in delivering patient-centered care and ensuring that treatment protocols align with the latest evidence-based practices. You will also assist with coverage needs during provider vacations, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
