Amazon is hiring a Data Center Technician to maintain and support AWS cloud infrastructure. You'll be responsible for hardware and network repair, equipment installation, and ensuring seamless data center operations. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You are a motivated individual with a strong interest in technology and data center operations. You possess excellent organizational skills and can prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to communicate clearly and react quickly to challenges makes you a valuable team member. You are willing to work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers and specialists. Experience with AWS is a plus, as you will be working within the AWS infrastructure services team.
In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the heartbeat of Amazon's global cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include hardware and network repair, equipment installation, and creating documentation for processes and solutions. You will innovate solutions to problems within the data center space and ensure that operations run smoothly 24/7. You will also be required to travel within and outside of the regional work area as needed to support data center operations. Collaboration with software, hardware, and network engineers will be essential to deliver the highest standards for safety and security in the data center environment.
