Samsara is seeking a Director of Sales Compensation to design and manage compensation programs that align with business goals and drive performance. This remote role requires strategic leadership and expertise in compensation strategies.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in sales compensation strategy and management, ideally with a background in designing compensation plans that attract and retain top talent. Your strategic mindset allows you to align compensation programs with business objectives effectively. You understand the nuances of compensation structures and are adept at analyzing data to drive decisions. You possess strong leadership skills, enabling you to guide teams and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing business needs. You have a proven track record of implementing successful compensation strategies that motivate sales teams and drive performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Sales Compensation Strategy function, ensuring that compensation plans are competitive and aligned with Samsara's overall strategy. You will collaborate with the Go-to-Market organization to design and implement compensation programs that drive performance and support business goals. You will analyze compensation data and market trends to make informed recommendations for adjustments and improvements. You will work closely with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance and alignment with company policies. You will also be responsible for communicating compensation plans to the sales team, ensuring clarity and understanding of how their performance impacts their compensation. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of transparency and motivation within the sales organization.
