Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting

Who you are

You have over 5 years of professional experience in accounting and financial reporting, demonstrating a strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS standards. Your expertise includes managing complex accounting matters and ensuring compliance with external reporting requirements. You are proactive in identifying and resolving accounting issues, and you have experience leading policy initiatives and implementing new accounting standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential for success in this role.

Desirable

Experience with M&A due diligence and integration is a plus, as well as familiarity with statutory reporting requirements. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to assess the impact of new accounting standards on the organization. Your leadership skills allow you to guide teams through strategic initiatives while addressing accounting impacts.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the US GAAP reporting and ensure compliance with external reporting requirements. You will support IFRS and statutory reporting as needed, proactively identifying and resolving complex accounting matters. Leading policy initiatives will be a key responsibility, including the implementation of new accounting standards and maintaining global accounting policies. You will continuously monitor and communicate new accounting standards to the organization, assessing their impact on the company. Additionally, you will lead or support cross-functional strategic initiatives, ensuring that accounting impacts are proactively addressed. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate financial results and proper accounting treatment.
