What you'll do

As an Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities within our data centers. Your role will involve hands-on work with electrical and mechanical equipment, including standby diesel generators, UPS systems, and cooling systems. You will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to our goal of achieving 99.999% uptime.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers to identify and resolve issues that may arise in the infrastructure. This includes performing routine maintenance, conducting inspections, and implementing improvements to enhance system reliability. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the operational needs of AWS data centers, ensuring that our customers have continual access to the services they rely on.

You will also participate in training and development opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in data center operations. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and efficiency of our technology infrastructure, making you an integral part of the team.
