Overview

SpaceX is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for the Starlink project to drive manufacturing tools and processes from concept to production. You'll work with AutoCAD and SolidWorks to design and implement assembly and test processes.

Who you are

You have a background in manufacturing engineering with experience in designing and implementing electro-mechanical assembly and test processes. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure product quality and manufacturability. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you are driven by the challenge of building innovative solutions from the ground up. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with senior leadership during critical design phases. You are passionate about technology and its potential to improve connectivity for underserved populations.

Desirable

Experience with satellite technology or aerospace manufacturing is a plus. Familiarity with quality assurance processes and methodologies will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the Starlink project. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving manufacturing challenges will set you apart.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development of manufacturing tools and processes for the Starlink project. You will collaborate with mechanical design teams to create efficient assembly processes that meet production goals.
