Airtable is seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist to join their Analytics & Data Science team. You'll partner with product development teams to transform user data into actionable insights using tools like dbt and Looker. This role requires experience in data analysis and visualization.
You have a strong background in data science, with at least 3-5 years of experience in product analytics. You are proficient in SQL and Python, and you have hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Looker. You understand the importance of data pipelines and have worked with tools such as dbt to ensure data reliability and scalability. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to define tracking requirements and validate data. You have a knack for translating complex data into strategic insights that drive business decisions.
Experience with A/B testing and experiment design is a plus, as is familiarity with data warehousing concepts. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for data-driven decision-making. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy mentoring junior analysts or data scientists.
In this role, you will own and maintain core product data pipelines, ensuring they are reliable and scalable. You will build and refine dashboards that provide real-time insights for high-priority product areas, enabling teams to make informed decisions quickly. You will lead the development of strategic insights that connect user behavior patterns to executive decision-making, helping to shape the future of Airtable's self-serve business. You will partner closely with product and engineering teams to implement instrumentation and validate data, ensuring that the insights you provide are accurate and actionable. Additionally, you will establish trusted partnerships with various stakeholders, becoming the go-to resource for product data insights and technical guidance.
