You have a solid background in systems engineering, with experience in evaluating complex systems and identifying opportunities for performance improvements. Your analytical skills enable you to assess in-conflict driving behaviors effectively, contributing to software and architectural enhancements. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results. Your passion for autonomous driving technology aligns with Waymo's mission to improve mobility and safety.
Experience with automation initiatives and scaling processes through innovative solutions would be a plus. Familiarity with autonomous systems or related technologies can enhance your contributions to the team.
In this role, you will identify opportunities to improve the performance of the Waymo Driver, leveraging your insights to drive actionable changes. You will evaluate in-conflict driving behaviors at both event and aggregate levels, which will inform software and system improvements. Your work will involve enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of triage pipelines, focusing on automation initiatives that streamline processes. You will collaborate closely with the Systems Engineering team to ensure high performance standards are met, contributing to the safety and reliability of autonomous vehicles.
Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $196,000—$248,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
