GoCardless is seeking a Solutions Engineer to lead technical engagements with prospective and existing merchants. You'll collaborate with sales teams to shape and support business opportunities. This role requires strong technical guidance and customer interaction skills.
You have a strong background in technical sales or solutions engineering, with experience in engaging with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner is one of your key strengths, allowing you to build trust and rapport with stakeholders. In this role, you will be the primary technical lead during engagements with prospective and existing merchants, helping to qualify, shape, and close new business opportunities. You will work closely with the sales team to present GoCardless's solutions, demonstrating how they can meet the unique needs of each client. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing technical guidance and oversight on exciting opportunities, ensuring that clients receive the best possible support throughout their journey with GoCardless. You will also collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings. Your role will involve preparing and delivering presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and participating in customer meetings to address technical inquiries and concerns.
