Business Intelligence Developer, CEG (Bangkok-based, 10-month Contract)

Who you are

You have a strong background in business intelligence and data analytics, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You are proficient in SQL and have hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, enabling you to create insightful reports and dashboards that drive business decisions. You understand the importance of data quality and have experience in data cleansing and transformation processes. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, allowing you to tackle complex data challenges effectively. You are also comfortable communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone can leverage data in their decision-making processes.

Desirable

Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes would be a plus. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is also desirable. Knowledge of data visualization best practices will help you create compelling visual narratives that resonate with stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that empower various teams at Agoda. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. You will design and implement data models that support reporting and analytics, ensuring that data is accurate and accessible. You will create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau, providing insights that drive strategic decisions. You will also monitor data quality and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions for team members on how to use BI tools effectively, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
