The Amazon Music User Primitives team is looking for a passionate, innovative, and results-oriented Software Development Engineer to help us re-imagine the user primitives and experiences for customers, unlocking new features and empowering customers to share their music with friends.
Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer on the Amazon Music User Primitives team, you will be responsible for;
- Systems that power the library, playlist and queue experience for millions of customers.
- You will work with a team of high-caliber engineers to create new scalable systems to manage the diverse set of customer features.
- Through experimentation, you and your team will solve for an optimally engaging music experience by delivering content seamlessly and help customers interact with their playlists in easy and intuitive ways.
- We use off the shelf AWS products such as EC2, ECS Lambda, EventBridge, S3, DynamoDB and CloudWatch.

10033- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
