About the Role

Acquia is seeking a seasoned Senior Marketing Data Analyst responsible for turning data into actionable insights that drive marketing strategies and decision-making. This role involves working with our Data Engineers to connect different data sources into a cohesive marketing database that will allow our organization to create scalable dashboards to report on marketing effectiveness

The analyst will be in charge of providing the right data points to enable the Run-The-Business meetings that will play a key role in marketing strategy and operations.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from CRM, web analytics, and marketing automation platforms to assess marketing campaign performance and its impact on sales performance.
  • Dashboard and Report Development: Create dashboards and reports for real-time insights into marketing KPIs—standardizing methodology for metrics such as lead generation, funnel performance, and campaign ROI. Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis support.
  • Marketing Optimization: Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement across marketing campaigns and channels by using projections, intent data, forecast and interpretation.
  • Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to measure and improve the effectiveness of lead generation, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and other campaigns.
  • Customer Behavior Analysis: Conduct analyses to provide insights into segmentation, targeting, and personalization opportunities.
  • Model Development: Assist in creating and maintaining marketing models, such as lead scoring and attribution models.
  • Competitive Monitoring: Track competitive landscape and market trends to provide strategic recommendations to the marketing team.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and integrity across marketing tools and databases.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years in a marketing or data analyst role in a SaaS company.
  • This role will need to closely work with our data architect to set up the data ingestions for GA4, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit and Qualified in Snowflake, build data tables to finally push them into Domo so previous experience with this is a must.
  • Knowledge of building marketing data models and CDPs is a must.
  • Knowledge on languages like SQL, BigQuery, LookML, relational databases.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in marketing analytics, automation, and orchestration tools, including Google Analytics, Domo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM, Openprise, 6Sense, etc. Experience in integrating these systems with marketing data lakes.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights while carefully QA’ing the data for final validation
  • Marketing Knowledge: Clear understanding of the marketing funnel, sales lifecycle metrics, and conversion optimization.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Qualifications: Detail-oriented, accurate in reporting and analysis, a team player, and a fast learner.
