Carvana is hiring a Logistics Associate responsible for staging and preparing inventory vehicles for transport. This role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, with opportunities for career growth through certifications.
You are an individual contributor with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age. You possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, which is essential for operating company-owned vehicles. You are comfortable using handheld scanning equipment and can operate a computer and company-issued tablet and mobile devices. You are detail-oriented and capable of accurately receiving, organizing, locating, and staging inventory vehicles on-lot while adhering to processing and safety standards.
Experience in a logistics or inventory management role is a plus, as is familiarity with vehicle inspection processes. You are eager to learn and grow your career, with aspirations to earn certifications that can enhance your skills and increase your earning potential.
In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to staging and preparing inventory vehicles for inbound and outbound transport. You will use handheld scanning equipment to log vehicle locations and troubleshoot any inventory location issues. Your duties will include conducting multi-point inspections of inventory vehicles and accurately completing inspection reports to ensure quality standards are met. You will maintain the lot and workspace areas, ensuring they are organized and safe for operations. Additionally, you will fuel inventory vehicles as needed and consistently meet processing and quality standards.
Carvana provides a competitive pay range of $19-$21 hourly, with financial opportunities for growth through certifications. After 12 months in the role, you can earn an additional $.50 per hour by gaining your first certification, and another $.50 per hour after an additional 6 months for your second certification. There are also opportunities to earn an additional $1 per hour by learning how to load/unload stingers.
