Procurement Specialist

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST - EL SEGUNDO, CA

As a Procurement Specialist operating within the framework of AS9100D, you will be responsible for  the acquisition of materials and components critical to aircraft manufacturing, ensuring compliance with rigorous quality and regulatory requirements.

This is a full-time onsite opportunity based out of El Segundo, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that are aligned with organizational objectives
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality
• Proactively identify and address risks in the supply chain (ex: notifying teams of long lead times)
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procurement related activities 
• Lead and support the product production line as needed 
• Support  the development of project plans, objectives, scopes, and communicate with stakeholders
• Additional responsibilities as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors of Science in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field 
• 4+ years of professional experience in procurement within aerospace, aircraft manufacturing or FAA regulated environment
• Self-starter with ability to drive improvement, meet timeliness and objectives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline. 
• 10+ years of professional experience in procurement within a highly technical environment
• Familiarity with ERP software such as Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Knowledge of AS9100D, ISO9001, and other Quality Standards is highly desirable

The posted salary range reflects the potential base pay for this role, adjusted to account for varying geographic markets. Final compensation will be based on factors such as your location, job-related skills, experience, and internal alignment, including equity and benefits.
